Add custom terms and conditions

What you'll need

  • Your business's terms of service / acceptable use text

Steps

  1. Open the Advanced tab, then General.
  2. Find Edit/Create a Custom Terms and Conditions and click the edit icon. Advanced tab showing the Terms and Conditions editor button
  3. Paste or write your terms in the editor that opens.
  4. Save — guests will see a link to these terms at login.

How it works

Terms and Conditions are separate from opt-in consent (the guest's explicit marketing-consent checkbox captured at login) — see About compliance and consent. Terms cover what a guest agrees to by using your network at all; opt-in consent is specifically about marketing. If you've also turned on opt-in consent, guests must accept both to complete login.

Best practice: keep terms specific to guest Wi-Fi use (acceptable use, liability, data handling) rather than reusing a generic corporate ToS — see What is the guest WiFi terms of service and privacy policy? for what to include.
