Choosing your setup path

What you'll need

  • Nothing — this is a guide to which other articles apply to you

Steps

  1. Single-venue owner — you manage one business location. Your first 15 minutes and the Go-live checklist are your whole setup path; you likely won't need Multi Admin (the Account Settings screen for adding teammates as extra platform users) or per-location access controls.
  2. Multi-location business — you manage several sites under one account. Follow the same first-15-minutes flow for your first site, then see Add a location and Manage multiple locations for the rest.
  3. Agency, reseller, or MSP — you're setting up MyWiFi on behalf of clients. You'll additionally want Invite a team member and Grant a team member location access to bring teammates on, plus Stripe Connect if you plan to bill clients directly (see the Billing & Plans category).
  4. White-label creator — you're reskinning MyWiFi with your own brand, domain, and colors (white-label) so your clients never see the MyWiFi name. Start with the same location/device/campaign basics (a campaign is a splash page plus its login methods and branding, reusable across locations), then see Custom domain setup to put your own domain in front of the dashboard and guest portal.

Best practice: whichever path you're on, don't skip Your first 15 minutes — every path starts from the same location/device/campaign foundation, the difference is what you add on top.
