What you'll need
- An existing Recurly-billed MyWiFi account
- A payment method to complete the new Stripe subscription
Steps
- If your account is still on Recurly, you'll see a red banner across the top of every page: "New plans are launching — convert your plan by [date] to keep your service." Always go by the date shown in your own dashboard, not any date mentioned elsewhere, since it can be updated. A one-time "Your plan is missing what's new" screen also highlights what you're missing (WhatsApp login, Credits wallet, Twilio numbers, Modern billing) with a See my new plan button.
- Review the recommended plan — you can accept it or pick a different plan from the full grid before converting.
- Click Convert to [Plan]. This starts your new Stripe subscription; your old Recurly subscription is cancelled as part of the same conversion, not left running separately.
- Once conversion completes, your account gains a Credit Wallet, auto-reload, and everything else that's Stripe-billing-only (see Credit Wallet overview).
Some accounts (partner, custom, or enterprise-priced accounts) don't have a self-serve convertible subscription — if that's you, you'll see a Talk to your account team prompt instead of a Convert button. That's expected; contact support and they'll walk your account through it manually.
Best practice: don't wait until the deadline. Conversion takes a couple of minutes and nothing about your existing setup (campaigns, locations, contacts) changes — only how you're billed.
