What is the free WiFi option for?

What you'll need

Steps

  1. Free WiFi is a login option that skips forms entirely — guests tap a one-tap "Connect for Free WiFi" button and they're online, with no email, phone number, or verification step required.
  2. Turn it on when reducing friction matters more than capturing guest data for that particular login method — a quick coffee stop or a one-time event, for example, where forcing a signup would frustrate guests more than the extra contact is worth.
  3. It's rarely used alone. Most resellers pair Free WiFi alongside a data-capture method like Email, SMS, or WhatsApp login (see Login Options) so cautious guests can connect instantly while everyone else still builds the client's marketing list.
  4. To enable it, open the Login tab and toggle on Free WiFi — full steps are in Free WiFi login.

Best practice: pairing Free WiFi with at least one data-capture method gets you the best of both worlds — zero-friction access for guests who want it, and lead capture for everyone else. See Free WiFi login for how to arrange the options on your login screen.
