Why are my returning guests skipping the campaign?

Steps

  1. This is expected behavior, not a bug — once a guest's device has been recognized and granted access, MyWiFi doesn't force it to see the splash page (the branded login page guests see when they join your WiFi) again for a configurable window of time.
  2. That recognition window lives in your Location settings, not per-campaign, so it applies the same way across every campaign assigned to that location.
  3. The trade-off is intentional: showing the login page on every visit maximizes marketing touchpoints and lead capture, but it also adds friction that returning guests notice.
  4. See Do repeat users have to log in on each visit? for exactly where to find and adjust this setting.

Best practice: if you want every visit to count as a fresh marketing touchpoint — for example, a venue running per-visit promotions — shorten or disable the recognition window in Location settings. For most venues, the default is the better guest experience: nobody enjoys re-logging into WiFi they already have.
