Why can I no longer access my router's admin console?

If you're not using a cloud controller, you're using a router with MyWiFi firmware. This firmware replaces the default firmware that you can normally access through the admin console, and is controlled through the MyWiFi platform.

If you've purchased a pre-flashed hotspot from our store, you don't need to worry -- the firmware is already installed and set up.

If you're using a third party device, then during setup you will see a button labelled Factory to MyWiFi Firmware. This will start the setup process that will replace the default firmware and remove your ability to directly access the router's admin console.
