Custom social portal URL

What you'll need

• A domain you control
• Access to your DNS provider

Steps

1. From the sidebar, go to Branding and find the Custom Domain card for your Social Portal — the guest-facing splash page (the "social portal") guests see when they connect.
2. Enter your custom domain instead of the default MyWiFi portal domain.
3. Create the CNAME record — a DNS record that points your own domain name at MyWiFi's servers — that MyWiFi provides, at your DNS provider. See Custom domain setup for the full walkthrough, including what "pending" vs. "active" status means.
4. Confirm your campaigns load correctly at the new domain before relying on it in production — see Why do I receive a demo page when visiting my custom social portal? if you hit issues.

Best practice: DNS changes can take up to 24-48 hours to propagate fully — make this change ahead of a launch, not on launch day.
