Set up auto-reload for your Credit Wallet

What you'll need

  • A Stripe-billed account
  • A saved payment method (required before auto-reload can be turned on)

Steps

  1. Go to your billing settings and open the Credit Wallet card (your prepaid balance for metered SMS, WhatsApp, email, and AI sends), then find Auto-Reload. Billing tab — metered usage bars, the Credit Wallet balance with included/purchased split and top-up bonus tiers, the auto-reload toggle, and transaction/invoice history
  2. If you don't have a saved payment method yet, you'll see a prompt to add one before you can continue.
  3. Turn on the Auto-Reload toggle.
  4. Set Reload when balance drops below — the dollar threshold that triggers a reload.
  5. Set the Reload amount — pick one of the same top-up amounts used for manual top-ups (bonus percentages apply the same way).
  6. Set a Monthly cap — the most auto-reload is allowed to charge you in a calendar month, as a safety limit.
  7. Click Save Settings.

Auto-reload disables itself automatically after 3 consecutive failed charges, with a notice telling you to update your payment method and re-enable it — it doesn't keep retrying silently.

Best practice: set your monthly cap generously enough to cover a busy month, but low enough that an unexpected usage spike doesn't surprise you on your card statement — you can always raise it later.
