The social WiFi sales process can be daunting, but it doesn’t have to be! It’s really three steps -- qualify a new client, show them what you have to offer, and then make the sale!
So, how do you qualify a new client?
One of the best ways is to look for locations that already offer free WiFi -- they already know the benefits of free WiFi, so now it’s time to add another layer on top of that! It’s all about leveraging the business’s existing WiFi and turning it from an expense to a measurable ROI. If they’re open at the moment, you can even simply walk in and show them a campaign preview -- right on your phone or tablet!
Social WiFi is an easy foot-in-the-door offer -- which you can then use to upsell them on your other services! For example, any of these products can be easily bundled with social WiFi:
- Retargeting/Facebook Ads
- Reputation Management
- Email followup campaigns
- Website traffic
- Social media management
Once you’ve qualified your lead, it’s time to show them what you can offer!
Sometimes, the best restaurants are the ones that need the most help with something like reputation management, or social media marketing -- and they might not recognize it! It might be as simple as mentioning the benefits of social WiFi to get in the door and help them succeed!
Remember that seeing is believing -- the single best way to sell something is to actually show it off while it’s operating. Show them the automatically-generated preview that’s created from their Facebook Page, and they’ll be hooked -- and best of all, when they go through the preview, it’ll be captured in your CRM!
But remember -- even though you’re selling social WiFi…. you’re not selling social WiFi. You’re selling them what they can do with it. So you’re not selling the product -- you’re selling them their customer’s data and better understanding of their customers, and you’re selling them the ability to automate their marketing! And, during COVID-19, you’re selling them the ability to keep in touch with their customers through these ever-changing times!
