What you'll need
- Nothing
Steps
- The weather widget is a purely decorative element on your splash page — the branded login page guests see when they join your WiFi — that displays current local weather automatically: no API key, no manual city entry, and no setup beyond a single toggle.
- It has zero effect on login, redirects, or data capture, so turning it on or off is a safe, reversible cosmetic choice you can test freely.
- It tends to suit hospitality venues (hotels, cafes) where guests appreciate at-a-glance info, but it can look like visual noise on a minimal or retail-focused splash page — weigh your client's brand before enabling it.
- To turn it on, go to Advanced > General > Widgets and toggle Weather Widget — full steps in Add a weather widget to your campaign.
Best practice: if you're unsure whether it fits a client's brand, leave it off — a cleaner, conversion-focused splash page usually beats one with extra decorative elements.
