How does the passcode login work?

Steps

1. Passcode login lets guests connect using a code instead of any personal information — no email, no phone number, nothing added to a guest profile.
2. You generate and manage codes from the Login tab's Passcode v2 Edit panel.
3. Codes can be single-use (spent after one guest connects) or reusable (the same code works for every guest), depending on how you configure them.
4. Distribute codes through whatever channel fits your venue — printed, verbal, or displayed on-site.

How it works

Passcode is the login method to reach for when you want to gate WiFi access — hand it only to people you choose. That makes it the closest thing to a physical key among the login options: whoever has the code gets online, and MyWiFi doesn't ask them for anything else. It's a good fit for staff networks, private events, or venues where a data-capture form would feel out of place.
