What you'll need
- A Client account already set up under your reseller/MSP account
Steps
- This is for MSPs and resellers managing sub-user access within one of your managed Client accounts — for adding a teammate to your own internal account instead, see Invite a team member, a separate, simpler mechanism.
- Go to Clients, then open the specific client you want to manage.
- Add a sub-user with their name, email, phone, and a password — you set the password directly here, there's no email-invite step to wait on.
- Set their permissions per module — campaigns (a splash page plus its login methods, branding, and post-login behavior), devices, reports, and so on — each independently set to Off, Read, Edit, Create, or Delete.
- Their access is scoped to that client's locations (a location is one physical venue in MyWiFi, with its own devices, campaigns, and guest data) — a sub-user added to one client doesn't automatically see any other client's account.
Best practice: default new sub-users to Read on most modules and only grant Edit/Create/Delete on the specific areas they actually need — it's easy to widen access later, much harder to know what someone accidentally changed under overly broad access.
