What you'll need
- Access to the Reports page
Steps
- On the Reports page, click the bell icon to open alert management — threshold alerts don't have their own top-level sidebar entry, they live inside Reports.
- Choose a metric to watch: footfall week-over-week, visitor count, no logins (nobody's connected in a set window), device offline, or opt-in rate.
- Set the condition. Footfall week-over-week compares as a percent drop or rise; visitor count and opt-in rate compare as greater-than/less-than a number; no-logins and device-offline fire simply when that condition becomes true.
- Choose how you're notified: email, in-app, or webhook (a URL you provide, POSTed to when the alert fires). SMS alerts aren't available yet.
- Set the evaluation window (5 minutes to 30 days) and a cooldown period (5 minutes to 7 days) so the same alert doesn't fire repeatedly for the same ongoing condition.
- Save. Alerts you set up start evaluating on their window going forward.
Best practice: start with "device offline" and a short cooldown if connectivity reliability is your main concern — it's the fastest way to know a location's hardware needs attention before a guest complains.
