What you'll need
- A plan that includes AI features (currently the higher tiers — check your plan if you don't see the search bar)
Steps
- On your Dashboard home, the Ask MyWiFi bar lets you type a question in plain English instead of digging through Reports manually.
- Today, Ask MyWiFi's strongest answers are about your top locations — sessions, unique guests, returning-guest share, form-completion rate, and last activity, for the last 30 days by default. Questions in that lane get a real, data-backed answer.
- Questions outside that scope may not get a useful answer yet — Ask MyWiFi is still expanding what it can look up. If it can't answer something, try the specific report or widget on the Reports page instead (see Analytics & Reports overview).
- Each question you ask uses a small amount of your account's usage allowance, and there's a daily limit on how many questions the account can ask.
Best practice: think of Ask MyWiFi as a fast shortcut for "how are my locations doing right now," not a replacement for the full Reports page — for anything beyond a quick locations check, the dedicated report widgets go deeper.
