Assign a campaign to a location

What you'll need

  • An existing campaign
  • At least one location (one physical venue in MyWiFi, with its own devices, campaigns, and guest data) set up under Locations

Steps

  1. Open the campaign, or use the campaign list's assignment action.
  2. Choose the location(s) this campaign should serve — a campaign can be assigned to one location or shared across several.
  3. Save. Guests connecting to Wi-Fi at that location now see this campaign's splash page (the branded login page guests see when they join your Wi-Fi).

How it works

A campaign and a location are separate objects on purpose — the same campaign can serve five locations, or five different campaigns can each serve their own location. Reassigning a campaign takes effect immediately: the next guest who connects at that location sees whatever campaign is now assigned, with no separate publish step. Because assignment is per location, you can point a new campaign at one venue and check it there before rolling it out to the rest.

Best practice: for multi-location accounts, build one well-tested campaign and assign it broadly rather than maintaining near-identical campaigns per location — use Duplicate a campaign only when a location genuinely needs different branding or login rules.
