[Archived] Enabling the content filter

You can enable the DNS content filter from the Session tab in the location dashboard settings. This built-in DNS filter is only available for devices flashed with our firmware.

Once enabled, your device will block DNS requests for:

  • Botnets
  • Malware
  • Phishing
  • Proxy & Filter Avoidance
  • Translation Sites
  • Inappropriate Content in these categories:
    • Dating & Personals
    • Gambling
    • Weapons
    • Adult Content
    • Alcohol & Tobacco
    • Hacking & Cracking
    • Media Sharing
    • Message Boards & Forums
    • P2P & Illegal
    • Real Estate

The content filter will also enforce:

  • Google SafeSearch 
  • Bing SafeSearch
  • YouTube Restricted Mode
